Cedric has been signed by 3 NFL Teams and has been offered a contract or brought in for a workout by over half the teams in the NFL. The Dallas Cowboys signed Cedric in 2000. In 2001, he signed with the San Diego Chargers and was 3 out of 3 on field goal attempts and kicked a game winner in overtime against the Miami Dolphins. He signed with the Arizona Cardinals and was 5 out of 6 on field goal attempts.

ACADEMY GOAL

To expose the campers to the fundamental skills required for successful kicking, punting, and snapping. To develop an interest among youth to become proficient kickers, punters and snappers. To teach effective Technique and Fundamental skills for kicking, punting, and snapping.

RECOGNITION

Cedric has had a remarkable career, with significant achievements in both college and professional football. Cedric is the first African American soccer-style kicker to score points in an NFL regular season and the first NFL kicker from a Historical Black College & University. During Cedric's college football career, Cedric was a four-year starter at kicker and punter, earning All-Conference honors twice. Cedric was invited to the prestigious Pro-Football Free Agent Invitational, where Cedric was rated as the top kicker. In 2008, Cedric received two great honors: being named to the ESPN All-Time Black College Football Team and the South Carolina State University All-Century Team. Cedric has been featured in “Journeymen,” a book about professional athletic careers by Kurt Dusterburg, and has been quoted in ESPN Magazine in an article related to kicking and punting.
